A Freelance Lifeboat in a Perfect Storm is the subtitle for a conference on New Ways to make Journalism Pay.

Steve Hewlett of The Guardian and R4’s Media Show is just one of the speakers at the New Ways to Make Journalism Pay conference organised by the NUJ’s London Freelance Bureau.

And thanks to sponsorship from the ALCS, the Authors’ Licensing and Collecting Society, cash help is available to the first 20 freelances ‘from afar’ who are interested in attending and who ask for help.?
