A basic knowledge of media law is essential for journalism, and whether you’re a student, hyperlocal publisher, community news reporter, blogger, podcaster, freelance or recently returned to the sector after a careers break, this course is an unmissable grounding in the basics of media law in 2021.

Leading UK media law expert David Banks will deliver a three-hour online session aimed at equipping you with good working knowledge of the main legal pitfalls involved in publication in print or on the web, or via broadcast media.

The session will cover:
