Mentoring & Coaching Network – evening session

“Being introduced to a new coaching technique and being able to watch it in action was excellent and then being able to take what we’d learned from the demonstration and try it ourselves really made the learning stick. I have already tried this technique with a colleague and it’s been very insightful.” Sian Fording, Academi Wales

We have teamed up with the Bectu-led Cult Cymru training programme again to bring you our quarterly evening coaching and mentoring skills refresher. The purpose of these events is to provide on-going skills development for anyone working in a mentoring/coaching or leadership role in Wales, to provide an opportunity to network and to share ideas and best practice.

During this session on 29th November, you will have the opportunity to practice your coaching and mentoring techniques in pairs/groups and special focus will be on the start of the coaching process: contracting; clarifying goals and outcomes.

You may have attended our ILM Certificate Coaching and Mentoring programme and some of you have expressed interest in mentoring others. Therefore, another role of the network will be to match people who want to mentor or coach someone with people who would like to be mentored or coached.

We are happy to provide proof of attendance on request for your CPD portfolio.

The venue, Cardiff and Vale College City Campus is only 5 minutes’ walk from Central Station or there is free on-street parking outside at that time of the evening.

If you are a member of Bectu, Equity, Writers’ Guild or Musicians’ Union please register via the Cult Cymru website.
